What’s your opinion of the woman in this Obama video?

https://donate.barackobama.com/page/contribute/abamt25?source=mainnav

This is the link to Obama’s donation video. It opens with a speech scene from Illinois. Behind Obama on the right is a blond lady. Keep an eye on her, she keeps reappearing throughout the video. Notice her body language, face and behaviour.

What do you really see?
What is your gut feeling?
Would you call this an effect of herd mentality?

Thanks for responding.

I really see a lady mesmerized by a charismatic new leader…She has drank from the well of hope and will drink any flavor of Kool Aid he provides.

My gut feeling is Hope is good. Blind faith is bad. The position of President is a starting point but leadership must come through the rank and file… He has a fight ahead…

Herd mentality… Cultism… The proof is in the pudding… He has not baked enough to be called a Chef. There is a lot of hot air afloat… But as a great Beatle said… Give peace a chance… Give hope and love a chance… Maybe he/we will change the world.

How did Obama clear campaign finance rules with the purchase of land from Rezko for only 17% of its value?

Filed under: obama — Tags: 3 Years, Becuse, Campaign Finance Rules, Lot, Money Launderer, Politicians, Rezko, Rose — admin @ 8:44 am

Obama couldn’t afford the house he bought in 2004, indicted money launderer and Obama supporter Rezko bought the lot next to Obama to lower the cost. Rezko paid $646k but sold the lot to obama 3 years later for $100k. Given the timeframe – values rose during that period so the lot should have been worth almost a million.

becuse he is, like most politicians a crook

Do we have to do a mandatory assignment after the Obama speech at school?

I’ve been hearing that after the speech we have to write letters saying how we can help the president.

Actually I’m not gonna see the speech my mom won’t let me but I heard that the school’s are going to do it.

Don’t worry, most schools have decided the President has no business giving a speech to students. Actually most schools districts have written public policies that they refuse to do this. Of course Reagan and Bush Sr gave similar speechs so this is just very political attack on the president. But good news is that most of the school districts not showing the speech will be returning all federal funding this year and refusing future funding. Further, I heard a lot of Mom’s won’t let their kids take Federal College Money or Federal Loans to prevent obama from having an influence in their kids education. So you better start working.

How did you feel before and after Obama speech?

To let you know, I’m for obama and thought it was silly how some people where acting over this speech.

I don’t have a problem with him telling kids they need to try to do good in school. One of the things he said is, you can’t drop out of school and expect to be handed a good job. A lot of the kids in the inner city schools don’t care about education. My wife is a teacher at an inner city elementary school. She said that even at an early age, a lot of the inner city kids are out of control. They don’t respect the teachers and don’t even try to learn. Teachers in these schools have a hard time because they aren’t allowed to discipline the kids at all other than sending them to the principles office. And a lot of the parents get mad at the teachers if they dare say anything bad about their kids. Hopefully since this speech was coming from a president who happens to be a minority, some of these kids will listen. I’m not really sure why so many people were upset about the speech. President Reagan and the 1st Bush both gave speeches to school children.

I have to write a paragraph on "whats the big deal about this person? why does he deserve to be the subject of a biography". I mean theres a lot to write, hes president, first african american president but I just need some ideas to talk about to make it a bigger paragraph not just hes the first president blah blah done.

What i have so far, don’t know if i worded it correctly?
9.America’s voted, and now these votes have placed a man of intelligence, dignity, and a determined plan of how to make our nation a better place. On November 4, 2008 the presidential portrait timeline was a huge change for U.S. history, the first African American to serve as president.

Are Obama and his campaign workers a bunch of liars?

After denying it for days, the obama campaign finally admitted that a meeting with Canadian government representatives in Chicago did take place concerning NAFTA. The Canadians were told that what Obama was saying about NAFTA was nothing but political rhetoric. Obama has lied to Americans about his plans for NAFTA and he has lied to Americans about the meeting with the Canadians. How much more of his campaign and speeches are lies?

I think that most of Senator obama's supporters among the public at large love this country and they want to be proud of their president. They want to see positive things happen in US society, and in the world. They are a voice of optimism. I also appreciate their passionate involvement in this campaign and in this election. They do not wish to accept many things as they are.

I am fortunate in that I remember presidents who inspired me. Now that I am older, though, and have learned a lot since then, I realize that some of them did not deliver what I hope their image promised *to me in my mind.* Sometimes this is because they did not really want to, and sometimes it was because there are other people throughout the world who only care about themselves or their causes and, well, are just bad people.

This is why people talk so much about "connections"—even if a person does not agree with the things their connections want, those connections do not care, and think that they are "owed" something because they think that they helped their "friend" and somehow own him or her—like an overbearing father, sort of, but worse. If a person cannot stand up to the bullies they know, how can they stand up to bullies they don't know?

I don't think that Senator Obama has proven if he is willing and able to do this—yet—because right now he is trying to "make it" and does not feel free to say what he believes about some very important and specific issues, because he wants as many people to like him as possible—he is TOLD to make as many people like him as possible. To many people, the candidate they support is like a racehorse, a tool, not a person with their own ideas. Politics is a hard hard business.

How come Obama is now quiet about providing health care for those with pre-existing conditions?

In the campaign trail, obama emphasized a lot about his health care plan and said anyone will get health insurance even if they have pre-existing conditions.

However, since taking office he does not talk about this topic at all. He has not spoken a word whatsoever about this issue since becoming president. Why not?

Either he hasn't gotten around to it yet, or it's a hollow promise he made to win votes.

I didn't vote for the man, but I will say that there's no way he's possibly going to be able to address ALL of his campaign promises in less than a week.

If a year goes by and he still hasn't addressed that topic, then you've got your answer.

In the mean time, at least give the man a chance.

Are you for or against the appointment of Roland Burris to Obama's Illinois Senate seat? Why or why not?

I'm totally for it – I've read about his personal biography online, and Burris seems a no-nonsense guy who works hard and doesn't get into scandals, and he's pretty progressive on the social issues (which matters to me) and would be a solid choice for the Democrats.

And plus, we don't have a lot of time to waste anyway, and every vote is going to count if obama wants to pass his economic stimulus bills. So I totally want him to get the seat.

Your thoughts, and why?

Burris appears to be a very acceptable individual but his appointment by Blagojevich taints his possible tenure. Burris realized this when he accepted the appointment and now he has to deal with the understandable consequences.

The Democrats in Congress are obviously in disagreement over this issue but they will work it out and I trust that they will do it fairly.

Are Most People Intimidated By Michelle Obama?

There are a lot of post on answers concerning Michelle Obama and her looks. Is the root of all these questions a cover up for most peoples intimidation of her. I mean Nancy Reagan, and Both Bush's were not the most attractive women. In the past, First Ladies have been known to be very passive. michelle obamobama being as educated as she is undermines most peoples views on what a real lady should look like.

I don't get why any lady married to a president or otherwise is being used to sell clothes or appear in a magazine about Fashion
michelle is not a model and should not be portrayed as one,
bush and Regan's wives looks are not important either , why would they be

why aren't the husbands of these politicians such as condeleza rice scrutinised in such a way

her looks are not relevant and are just used by the media to sell clothes and copies of magazines
why would i be intimidated by anybody !!
